Are silk & satin the same?
No. Satin is usually synthetic, made from polyester or rayon, while silk is a natural fibre. Our products are made from 100% mulberry silk — smooth, breathable & gentle on both hair & skin.
What materials are used?
All RoyalSilky products are made from 100% 6A grade mulberry silk (22 momme). This ensures a luxurious feel, long-lasting durability & maximum comfort.
How should I care for my silk items?
Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Avoid bleach, wringing or tumble drying. Let it air dry naturally to maintain softness & shine.
How long does silk last if I treat it well?
With proper care, silk can last for years. It’s a timeless fabric that becomes softer with every wash.
Is sleeping in a silk bonnet really better for my hair?
Yes. Silk helps reduce friction, tangles & breakage while retaining your hair’s natural moisture. You’ll wake up to smoother, shinier & healthier hair.
The fabric feels stiff after washing – what do I do?
This can happen if the silk hasn’t been fully rinsed. Try rinsing again in cold water & letting it dry naturally. Avoid heat.
Are your dyes & finishes free from harmful chemicals?
Yes. Our silk is dyed using non-toxic, eco-certified dyes that are gentle on the skin & safe for daily use.
